The Night Before......
As this is somewhat a momentous occasion in my life, I felt I should post. Future memory recall, and all that.
Yes, it has finally come to the night before the HSC. I think some people already had language exams today, but tomorrow the state hits their heads on desks and leave pens smudges on their foreheads with the (first) English exam.
*Raises eyebrow*
Indeed.
I haven't come up with a 'perfect' Inner Journey story, I assume I'll dream one up tonight. Heh.. Leave everything 'til the last minute; I think it's a Year Twelve philosophy.
Lately I've been getting into the tunes of Barry Manilow, and my mother told me she had a record. Bona fide! Goodbye computer!
I haven't posted lately because I had all these great plans for a great catch up post, with the dozens of holiday and partay activities I've been up to. Unfortunately, I've (temporarily) lost the camera so I can't upload all the pretty pictures. So look to that on your horizons.
I've been making myself happy by doing some writing recently. Including some old works that I want to finish in the next few months or so. And I'm very happy with the subconscious (and now on paper) work of one novella I'm nearly finished planning. It's always the middle that gets me.
I've managed to win one game of Spider Solitaire on medium, and this came up as I was discussing exam procrastination techniques with Kris last Friday. Well, soon the week will have come around (just like The Man), and then by the 7th of November I'll be quietly partying until the Society and Culture girls have finished their exam - then it will all be over.
But this HSC, it's just a moment. It's hard to think that it really matters, when I keep wanting to run out of buildings (with Ninja moves) and do God works. It's hard, but I feel really calm because everybody has been praying for me ^_^ and I want to focus on other things than passing this silly Ancient History (next Wednesday) pop quiz.
Enough of school, I'll be (hopefully) sleeping soon and then - my, I do overuse brackets (don't you think?)! ¶ 8:31 PM 1 Comments
