Oh My Wit
I chocolate you
I am all drugged and coffee-ed up and must write 2000 words of Extension 2 today as I missed writing my 1000wordsaday!1000wordsaday! yesterday....
I've been through all my China photos with my brother and last night my parents... I had to use my itinerary to think for me as my brain wouldn't function and I can't remember the names of places very well. I also talked to my Nana on the phone last night, and I said thank you for the birthday letter card and she reinforced that I needed to send her a synopsis of the trip. :)
Today is EXO camp reunion! Actually I really have no idea what's happening - I read the email from Gregor whilst in China and thus I don't remember the details.. But I have a few hours between now and then. Also tonight is Sunday @ Seven, which is very exciting and I have no idea what's happening (which is nice) and this is the second time I'm not directly involved in some way. o.0 I may yet be asked by Alex to do something, though... We never know...
I'm in a very serving mood. I feel like doing stuff for people. It's great.
But it means I don't want to do my short story... In fact I really don't like my story at the moment. >.< I don't see it as being very.. mature.. and I want to scrap and rewrite but at the same time can't be bothered.
This reminds me of all the little people on China tour who complained of 'assignments' they had to do.. pah! Nothing compared to the sole year 12, I! (Mr. James Taylor doesn't count of course) *twitches* I do stupid subjects.. Three major works.. which should be completed by the end of the holidays.. ie. in two days.... *twitch*
All I want to do is read BECK manga. *happy sigh* ^_^ And I'm telling my brother he should grow facial hair like Chiba. :D Stephen has recently (while I was away) shaven off his beard so now he is a stranger and I am still shocked my his young, hairless chin. I'll show a before and after photo. Yes, the shock.
Ok, caffiene has hit me now.. Lenny is happy ^_^
-.-'
I'm not addicted, no... I can stop at anytime. ^^
*hits self over head then stares at screen for several hours, attempting to do school work*
The Lenovo Strikes Back
I have returned! Hmm.. Really it should be Return of the Lentil, but as I have a new nickname (Lenovo) from Hewlett Packard (I think) advertising across China, I believe that can work for now.
I did have a fabulous time in China, and I will be slowly but surely posting up my 400+ photos on somewhere suitable (eg. yahoo photos). I think it will take a long time anywhere. And I love to laboriously input witticisms that are hilarious to only I. And for Bodhi's information, I only bought two pairs of shoes. ^_^
But I like my new socks.
*cough* It's difficult for me to just talk about the trip - you'd need to get me in a conversation and I would say "oh, and this one time, on band tour in China..."
However, some brief overall comments: it is very different to Australia. I don't know if anyone who's reading this (aside from HGHS associated people who went with me) have been to China, but there are a couple of things.. eg. There were two days in which you could vaguely see some blue sky. There seem to be no road rules. And...
See, I'm already bad about this 'telling tales of China' thing. Comments on the photos I put up will give a more complete tale.
And I am very reassured by Jonno's posting, mostly as that shock Battery Kids news has been patted down to truth. As my head is quite gluggy from a cold and still needing sleep (although I got more than 12 hours last night @.@), I shall endeavour to write my 1000 words a day of major works. *sigh* ^_^
The Battery Kids in China v. II

Please help me decide which one to take to China!
In loco parentis
I'm on a post-exam low, sitting lazily eating dorritos and half-drinking my watered down orange cordial, not wanting to work on my major work (see title). I should be chunking out roughly 2000 words today. Bleh! ^_^
So while I'm trying to access some good J-rock, waiting to call my mum and check that she's survived the plane back from QLD (and making sure she's got a safe taxi driver), I'm happily procrastinating.
Something to check out: various albums of Derrick and Eddy-kun's trip to JAPAN:
http://spaces.msn.com/derrickkwan/*whimpers* I want to go to Shibuya....
However, me getting employment is a long way off, especially as I'm refusing to work in retail ever again *shudders and remains scarred for life from Targe`t* this little dream of travelling shall have to wait.
Hmm.. Dorritos quite addictive... But they're only here to sate my coffee hunger. And I shall be making myself some more pasta lunch soon. Yay for pretending I can cook! Oh my, I've eaten half the container's worth..
The most exciting news with Lenny at the moment is her excitement regarding going to China. Something else she must do today is make the easter bookmarks... She'll continue to refer to herself in third person, and she doesn't remember any of the itinerary or when her flight is to leave Oz or many of the places she's playing at. Oh, plan achieved - talking to Mr James Taylor at rehearsal yesterday. Maybe we can buddy it up on the plane flights and comiserate over pains of final years of high school so I can avoid .. little people.. *eyebrow twitches* At least I'm not rooming with any of them. *shudders* Nah, I'm sure after the first few days they'll calm down from their little-people excitement that pervades all eardrums. ^_^
*Waves to Suchu* Hi lovely. Ancient history exam went fun, I think it was your luck that helped. And the memorisation of two names: Helvius Sabinus and Lucretius Salinus Valens. However, I only got to put one of them in my essay (I worked out last night that my final exams will include 17 essays! @.@.. I do stupid subjects >.<) so this means I'm estimating 50% mark. The deal was if I memorised and used both of them, I'd pass with flying colours. If was fun to repeat them in silly Roman + Gladiator voices. Go on, try saying them out loud too.
OK, fine.
^_^ Puff luf!
My Own Private Idaho
You know how Lenny is, procrastinating on studying for exams, leaving exam speech-writing until the day before, downloading anime music and manga that she will actually buy later when she can be bothered to go to the city and use her new Kinokuniya membership card...I should not have staying in bed this morning.
There was a full 3 hours worth of productive queue-waiting and attemptive speech writing! Translation: Noir watching, as I'm going to use that anime as a related text for english Crime Fiction study.
Ahh well.. And now I'm feeling ill. Last time I felt like this was Saturday (I've been amazingly stable since), and I had a migraine, I think due to watching a screen for too long, and then I ended up throwing up etc etc... So today while checking out extras of My Own Private Idaho, I 'watched' the audio only stuff.
*dances randomly to BECK music she's just gotten her speakers on*Unfortunately it seems to be producing the same effects... No vomitting yet. But it make me not want to eat lunch. Bleh >.<
Oooh.. bass... so.. good.. *drools at shirtless Taira-kun* heheheh...
Well, aside from still deliberating if I'm going to a proper post of something that makes my blood boil, I'll perhaps sleep, get this haircut I'm booked in for, do a bit of speech writing and maybe some ext. 2. Yay! :)
