The Happiness Test
IQ Tests, Johari Windows - now we need to take such prolific online quizzes to know how happy we are?
Interesting.
People are looking forward to this party of mine on Saturday, and so am I. Exciting.
Mother's Day is this Sunday, for those of you who haven't been aware of the sales at the shops lately, and this year I've organised a sentimental little something for my mummy dearest. We might go to lunch/dinner of some sort. Hehh.. *pulls out entertainment book vouchers for a discounted meal*
People have commented on my family, saying that we're all quiet.. or all rather comfortable with each other. It makes sense to me - that's how we are. But over coffee (McCafe - how desperate can I be? :P ) yesterday I think it was, my mother and I were discussing types of people. She was saying how she doesn't.. well, that she often perceives assertiveness as aggressiveness, that's why she's never promoted it in our family or anything. Yes, we are a quiet family and all comfortable with each other and know where the personal space boundaries are... heh.. But there's never yelling or anything like that. Hmm.. that's why I sometimes on China Tour found teachers, etc, frustrating...
Some exciting events of today!: EXO at lunchtime - we're starting a thing this term about God's promises.. Becky did an intro on that.. bit of an eye-opener. Also went shopping with the mother for some party gear.. Namely 80's Karaoke DVDs!!!! Yes, it shall be all painful .. I've already checked them out. Random "beautiful" girls that have nothing to do with the songs (although filmed in Australia).. although! Surprisingly good back up music - including even some vocals! When I go off to karaoke with friends, the songs are not in english (crazy otakus that we are) and it's usually a one or two note high pitched keyboard synth noise.. So it shall be slightly more pleasant.
Tomorrow night is FESTY-VALE`! Lots of fun and games! Oh, and Michael Jackson's Thriller will be played at my party, so all us prefects will be able to dance the night away.. hehehh..
Better do that mother's day plan before she returns from supermarket-ing.. Aw...
