  Fluxicity
In a couple of years, ie. in ten months when I've finished school, I'll look back on these earlier posts and say 'why on earth was I talking about that?!'. However, the fact would remain that I spent at least 4 hours a day doing school, being at school, breathing SCHOOL and my mind was so flooded it had nothing interesting or otherwise contemplative to concern everyone else with.

So... I'm definately not going to 'change me' to make this blog more interesting, but it might become more sort of rantings about how many deviants and blogs are horrible photos of kittens. I mean, the kittens aren't horrible, but the amount of wasted space is.

I should set up that inter-school prefect internet thing myself... Ooops, there I go about school again!

On the plus side, I didn't get yelled at today! :)

And if you've experienced gmail chat, wave your mouse pointer over emoticons. They turn around again. It excites me (poor Gregor).

And, in the spirit of deadjournal ~

currently listening to: Dream Theater - Big Medley (live recording)
Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody
Paradyme
Orchestral end of the world music <-- It's pretty ^_^

  You know when...
...You have to write your entire draft for your (opera script) major work over two nights
...You have to compose 2,000 words a week of a story because you're the only one doing the HSC in 2006 that's going to China in the Easter holidays with the school combined band
...You're quite tired
...But still quite excited?

Well, you could fit in nicely to my life ^_^

*wraths* stupid history extension essay. Ooops!! That's something else I'm behind on. Sigh. Collapse. Azumanga Daioh style.

Should I bother doing this essay? Um, yes! La la la.... <-- This is the 'I don't want to do work and I wish I had XP Spider Solitaire on this computer so I could really distract myself' tuneless la-ing.

Yep.

Oh well. And if you've been to liveunderfaith.blogspot.com, please ignore the poorness of the site. James doesn't know how to fix up the links, etc, and I ran out of time to be entirely helpful that and the following day.

In the meantime, while you're arguing that if I'm posting in this and having time to be wishing to play spider solitaire, then I can surely use my break more productively and make the communityblog more user friendly, I shall go and get some sars(aparilla).

*skips away but falls over on her way out*

Oh! Guess who just did some exercise! ! ! Take that, Mr. Fitness Is Good For Your Health! (He has a sad, lonely face)

  Psalm 63
This dude, let's call him Dave, was stuck in a desert. If you were stuck in a desert, quite hungry and thirsty with no people friends dancing around, wouldn't you feel a little lonely and sad? Maybe you would. But Dave wrote this (it's a song):

earnestly I seek you;
my soul thirsts for you,
my body longs for you,
in a dry and weary land
where there is no water.
Because your love is better than life...
I will praise you as long as I live.

Because you are my help,
I sing in the shadow of your wings.
My soul clings to you;

your right hand upholds me.
They who seek my life will be destroyed;

they will go down to the depths of the earth.

I am just feeling great, and I had to say so ^_^

I really like these lines (paraphrased and different version)...

You have helped me,
and I sing happy songs

in the shining light of your wings.

I stay close to you,
and your powerful arm
supports me.

Anyway...

^_^

Oh, and if you're interested: liveunderfaith.blogspot.com For all you crazy cats who like posting.

La la la... la la la la la... (it is to a tune)

Oops, there's one more 'la'.

*sways happily to soul music*

  *hums herself to sleep*
Sunday @ Seven was great... Ask me about it ^_^

I'd put this song online, but..

Lyrics:

Psalm 130 More Than The Watchman (by Sons of Korah)

Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord;
O Lord, hear my voice.
Let your ears be attentive
To my cry for mercy.

If you, O Lord, kept a record of sins
O Lord, who could stand?
But with you there is forgiveness;
Therefore you are feared.

My soul waits for the Lord
and in his word I put my hope.

More than watchmen waits
More than watchmen waits
For the Dawn.

O Israel, put your hope in God,
For with Him is unfailing love
And with Him is full redemption.
He save us from our sins.

My soul waits for the Lord
and in his word I put my hope.
More than watchmen wait
More than watchmen wait
For the morning.

My new favourite song...

  The Battery Kids in China
I've just had ten minutes of fun creating a lovely Sodoff Baldric.

Ha-ha! He makes me laugh every time... Hehehh..

So James and I have been up to all sorts of caffeinated fun! I've been editing a story he already wrote, and I think then we're going to co-write some more Annatar tales (of whic Sodoff is a part.. haha!).

And I now know what Ashleigh's blog addy is, so that's interesting. *shrugs* Contrived controversy.

And when Mr. James Black updates his blog a few more times (at least ten posts, I think I'm making that my regulation) I'll add him to my official links. I'll probably add Kate's (from school) as well. Oh well.

Ha ha... I'm going to stick another pic of Sodoff (if you don't like what he's doing, tell him to sod off) on my wall.. Like Tommy and the Tree Squirrels.

Eddy got me a present from his latest trip to Hong Kong! How nice. I'm remembering the pen Fi gave me when she got back from exchange to Germany. I really liked it. ^^ And then I saw Rebecca had gotten the pencil tin + rubber + other accessories or something. And then I wondered if she had forgotten about me : So, anyway.. No more jealousy or self-pitying - working on.. *sniggers about Sodoff* Wielder now.. :)

Oh, and I am aiming to wear a Battery Kids shirt in China. As we can barely pack anything for weight limits, I'll probably be wearing it a few times.. Now I just have to decide which one.. I should put up a poll ^_^

  Singles Awareness Day
James is coming down to humble small town Lennyville! So we'll be going to a combined churches band youth night up the coast, as well as (supposedly) co-writing a novel, and generally hanging out. There should be much coffee. ^_^

I actually refrained from my friend caffiene today. Goodbye, International Roast, hello hot chocolate! Actually, my latest fun concoctions have been iced coffees, which I have nearly perfected. None of this Nescafe iced frappe business. If you aren't aware of what Nestle is doing, google 'nestle boycott' and you'll find out why I never buy Nestle.

Something new and exciting Michael (Canada Michael) alerted me to is www.nationstates.net Fun! My kind of rpg.. Well, it's nothing like that at all, but if I could play more frequently, it might beat Civ III.

Latest news is that stress has compounded and I am now ill. My future health does not look promising. Probably another day off school. But that's ok.

As if I was going to work on my short story. That was just an excuse to use the computer and wish for spider solitaire.

www.dmag.com.au

I think the new issue is out now! The one I wrote half of... It was either in stores the 16th or 21st, so grab a copy of the March issue today! ^_^

My brother decided to put some jazz on... Reminds me of Aus Geo's editor Ken.. "Mind some jazz, Lenny?"
(nervously and excited) "No, not at all.."

  Lenolia
Trying to convince nice brother to take me to my friends' house.. Drag him there as well so he has a good reasons to take me. ^_^ Stargate-ing, perhaps? I've finished the third DVD of the third season now.. and now Daniel's wife is dead so season 8 won't be such a shock.. Oh, the technology.

Apparently I'm writing a musical for my drama script Major Work. My teacher told me so >.< Bohemian Rhapsody and Gimme the Prize, it was always going to be one. I might taper it back to a play, though. It depends how dramatic vs. operatic it turns out being.

I'm looking up Dante's Inferno..

Going! Yay! :D Dancing and snuggling and maybe chocolate concoctions! The way to a man's heart is still through his stomach...

  Post-it Me!
Art!

Yay for links!

Just a brief note on my latest additions:

* May Yeo - really good. That's all I have to say about that.

* Jo Chen - my most favouritest online artist EVER. A couple of her cg paintings are great sources of inspiration for my novels. Highly reccommended.

* Edgeworlds - I really like her style of drawing. This is HP (Harry Potter) fan art, folks. I might be a Harry Potter geek, but.. Well, I'm proud of it. I don't like some of the pairings/ships she draws, but.. they're so good!

* Potter Puffs - hee hee! They're so funny and cute and..!!! If you've never checked them out before, 'tis a must! Harry Potter characters in Powerpuffs forms!

I was considering putting up a link to some others, but they're not as good. Also, Anthony's Deviant, but I'd want to ask him first for permission, and then again I'm not really sure if I would want to either. ^_^ I like keeping him for myself. Uh, I mean... *coughs and runs back to reality*

Oh, I don't mean it like that!

*pokes tongue out*

  The Cat Returns
Aside from copying Studio Ghibli anime films as titles, little Lenny has been up to a lot.

She has now received prime Radelaide Blog Status as a link on Jonno's blog! Heheh... Oh, I remember those woefully pitiful days of conceiving my first email to the Battery Kids.. I just didn't know what to say :P

Does anyone else wish they had the DVD of all Michael Jackson's movie-esque music videos? My friends stated that they wouldn't be able to bear looking at his face for that long, and I have to agree. Still.. Thriller, c'mon!

In between organising YBS weekend away and ordering around my coffee and sarsaparilla addictions, I've been half attempting homework that I should have done 9 weeks ago (now thoroughly overdue) and crying (not fully inside) that Thornleigh Baptist may not be able to play for my Sunday @ Seven service. Sigh.

While I don't know how Jonno could not have already discovering David Bowie, it's refreshing to discover (often not new) good music.

At lunch today at school (oh, it sounds so pathetic... only one more year... *twitches like an ex-heroin addict*) we were discussing many peoples' bfs and I was joking how I would have to conform to peer pressure and find myself one. I think it was Helen who suggested I just needed to find some nice emo boy. So, yes, when I eventually trip down to Radelaide I'll find me a nice emo boof. Cool talk, folks. I know (well, I don't actually) that 'Dolly' doesn't actually write 'boof', but when you use Cool Talk to say 'bf' out loud, that's what it sounds like. Sigh. Sometimes I hate us. And, for your delightful information, I am not using the royal pronoun.

"I have no problem with Brett Ratner speaking in third person. It implies that he has split personalities and that other personality might actually be a good director. "

Brett Ratner is the director of X-men 3. I shudder. Sometimes I say I feel sorry for him, but bashing him can be quite fun. The above quote was from an entire forum thread(s) dedicated to um.. *cough* praising his level of intelligence. I'm sure I'll continue having advance nightmares about how X3 will turn out.

Other people seem to be stressing out a lot about Year 12 so far this year, but I'm all blase`. I'm obviously not the one who will make our school come second in the state (our principal says it's stupid rough appropriation by the newspapers), but I seem to have done well so far. And I think even if I was doing badly, I wouldn't take it so. I have it in my head that I have not much work to do, but I think I'm just ignoring my Major Works (history, english ext. 2 and drama). However, I don't really think I'm that behind on them either. Hm.

Update: I found my watch.

I know I never posted that I lost it, but I lost it some time last year (straight after I'd gotten a new watch band) and I didn't want to tell anyone, especially for fear of my parents. Indeed, the method worked. It turned up, just like I thought it would. In the couches/on the floor of the cool-i-oh YBS back room. Just fab. No worries.

Something to consider: (ooh, this sounds exciting, maybe I should post thought-provoking things each post!) when your two friend groups intermingle consistently, as do your two 'identities', things become a little weird but also much more relaxed and fun.

It was a bit worrisome when the 'Lynette' and 'Lenny' worlds first inter-.. collided? Oh, it all began with Tegan. And those horrible plays we performed were I had to revisit my Target Days. Now everbody is swapping bfs and gfs and we're plotting others' demises.

Not really, actually.

Oh, now I have to go and be devious and crafty and plot someone's (metaphorical) demise.

Ta for your eyes and your time,

Lenny ^_^

Are you sure you want to do that?
The title is referencing the fact that my internet won't work after a couple of sites unless I shut down anti-virus protection death god, Zone Alarm. Do I want my internet to work?

YES.

I've just surprisingly found a booklet that summarises my entire Modern History topic of China. And then I realise it's not relevant at all because it's the year 11 version. -.-

Wow, I'm actually doing my homework now! I thought using the computer might be just a superficial thing wherein I pretend to "need to research"..

>.<

I'll post again later.

  Suchu's Already Lost Her Shoes
I'm trying to find some more 'The Early November' which is acoustic and slower than Dashboard Confessional, and less whiny too ^_^

Michael just asked me if I wanted to go to NSW uni with him and Dave : Now he's telling me to wag school. *snorts*

As if I'm going.

I just keep thinking of how Kris came to Sunday @ Seven and really liked it, and it makes me smile ^_^ Except now she's pretending to hate me because I asked her if she was 'thinking about boys' when she was giggling randomly.

Carmen said I'm definately not allowed to see X3 without her, so maybe I'll see it with Rindi and her.. Drag one of them along with the other. 'Cause they're both my sci-fi/movie buddies. Today Carmen and I went over to Westfield during lunch due to the extreme, deathly heat. Don't worry, we're allowed to. It's only across the road from our school. Though she nearly nearly got hit by a car.

Yay! This Saturday is so exciting.. Devotion and Courtyard Cafe! Actually, it's mostly just Cafe I'm excited about, because I have no idea about Devotion, but I haven't been in a couple of months and I'll get to sit down and have a chat with Erin (hopefully) about our common pains.

I've emailed Thornleigh Baptist to try and get them to do music for my Sunday @ Seven service, which is the last Sunday of this month (I'm being unnaturally unorganised), and I've also tried to get in contact with Chris Hunter (Terrigal) to try and get a number for the speaker.. And I have contact details for some interviewees, but I want to talk my ideas over with someone first, except Mrs DJ, mentor, is off on holiday so I'll just bounce ideas with my mum, I think.

I think I'll go back to watching swimming.. too many people on msn and I'm getting virtual claustrophobia.

Until a later time,

^_^
