  Furthering My Emotional Education
While the title may be a reference to Love Actually, this post isn't. In fact, emotions don't really have a part to play at all.

Today work was fine - finished that anime Studio Ghibli quiz - it only took me about 5 hours.. Did some 'boring work' of scanning in competition winner drawings. Did a 'What's Going On' for March... I made friends with AG (Australian Geographic) writers and editors, found the Chief Editor to be nice and she asked me if I was having fun. :P Kathy (an editor) has clung to the mistaken assumption that I'm on work experience (and I believe she's told others that), so maybe that's why I'm being forcefed sugar by them... No kidding; half a table of chocolate and lolly pops and many other things I've been told to eat all of and then start on the next lot. I happened to overhear Kathy (who is super nice) on a phone call saying she thought I wasn't sure if she was serious about being allowed to eat them... She said it rather loudly too.. I had already eaten a Freddo and a Caramello by then, but people were walking past the office so I hid the wrapper as now I wasn't convinced I was supposed to (but clearly I was). And later I felt like a pig too, as the Editor-in-Chief observed that I was doing a good job (Dee, I think her name is? Or is that the other lady..?), but DMAG's Nicole had helped out quite a bit. #.#
Quite a few people were scrummaging to the editor offices to get their sugar, while whining to each other about weight and New Year's resolutions. Kathy also ordered me to do my job faster/better ie. eat the chocolate. :)

I also got given a copy of Studio Ghibli's My Neighbours the Yamadas. I hope Stephen's happy. :P Ooh, here he is right now.

He's bored. He's singing "here we are now, entertain us". At least I'm not stupid and it's not contagious. And I'm not giving this computer up. He can plug the other one back in.

Unless he's taking it back to Lanville? *awaits reply*

He shakes his head (twice - appropriately), and laughing too lightly claims "no I'm not". But well, he's had about five hours of sleep in a .. couple of days and he looks as lanned-out as in Jonno's older photos.

I think these entries aren't that long, but I go and check them out ('View Blog' is such a handy little feature, don't you think? Imagining actually seeing the blog!) and they appear a tidbit lengthy.

And I've thought that Dorothy (my DMAG boss and its Editor) can read over my Extension 2 English major work short story and give pointers. Yay - outside pro help! (Now I can be just like everybody else. *cough* Heh.)

Today while working on my What's Going On thing, I became slightly distracted (I must confess) by the history of St. Patrick. Quite fascinating, to me anyway; the boy is enslaved to Irish pirates (arrr!) and ends up becoming the country's patron saint! Anyway, see the linkie linkie linkard (beware the music). Yes, I must must do that repet-repetition. It's like a song in my head. So there's a few good sites there.. The first link one tells you about his (possible) real name and those arrr! people. - http://www.manlwestss.eq.edu.au/webtrek/myweb10/st_patrick's_day.htm (You may have to copy the url as blogger currently doesn't like me.)

I'm currently conjointly reading 'Turning you into someone New' which is H/D funniness.. And on Fiction Press 'Addicted to You' - http://www.fictionpress.com/read.php?storyid=1881358 It's quite funny in parts, but I guess the personas and plot are a little addictive.

Ta,

Lenny.

(In two days I can tell you about the panda card I intend to make.)
